Winter Reminder for Seasonal Residents:
If you are a part-time or seasonal resident and plan to be away during the winter months, please remember to turn off your well pump before leaving. Shutting off the well pump can help prevent water from flowing into your plumbing system if a pipe freezes and bursts, reducing the risk of extensive water damage to your home.
Before leaving for the season, it is also a good idea to drain your plumbing system and take other appropriate winterization measures to protect your property.
A few simple steps before you leave can help avoid costly repairs and provide peace of mind throughout the winter.
